Matthijs de Ligt received 67 per cent of the vote in defence ahead of Inter Milan̢۪s Milan Skriniar and Napoli̢۪s Kalidou Koulibaly.

In the full-back position, Chelsea left-back Marcos Alonso was a fan favourite with Bayern Munich̢۪s David Alaba not far behind.
Paul Pogba came out on top in the midfield vote ahead of Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Thiago and Miralem Pjanic.
With 70 per cent of the vote, Hazard was the clear winner in the playmaker position ahead of Tottenham̢۪s Christian Eriksen.
