Saudi Arabia Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has given up trying to tempt Manchester United owners, the Glazer family, into selling the club.
Avi and Joel Glazer have ‘flatly refused’ any takeover attempts as they want to take a more hands-on approach at Old Trafford, The Sun report.
Bin Salman was reportedly planning on making a huge £3.8billion bid for Man United, small change considering he is reportedly worth in excess of £850billion.

The Saudi regime met super-agent Pini Zahavi, who helped Roman Abramovich complete his 2003 takeover of Chelsea, back in February to discuss ways they could advance a deal to buy Man United.
The Glazers, who took control of United back in 2005, have come under fire from the Man United support in recent times, in part due to their failure to replace Sir Alex Ferguson in 2013.
There is also frustration that local rivals Manchester City have left the Red Devils floundering both on and off the pitch since they were taken over by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed al-Nahyan of Abu Dhabi in 2008.
