The full list of nominees for this season’s EFL awards have been confirmed, along with the teams of the season for each of the Championship, League One and League Two.
Three strikers are in the running for the Championship Player of the Season award, with Birmingham’s Che Adams and Sheffield United’s Billy Sharp joined on the shortlist by Teemu Pukki, the Norwich forward, who leads the second division’s scoring charts with 24 goals.
Sharp is one goal behind, with Adams is a further strike back on 21 goals scored this season.

The free-scoring trio are all named in the Championship team of the season, which includes three Norwich players in total and Oliver Norwood joining Sharp as Sheffield United’s representatives.
Their promotion rivals Leeds United feature in the team of the season, with midfielder Kalvin Phillips and Liam Cooper, the defender, included.
Eyebrows have been raised at the lack of Leeds players named on the shortlist for the Player of the Season award.
Max Aarons is one of the three Norwich players in the team, and he is also nominated for the Young Player of the Season award.

The three-man shortlist also includes Luton defender James Justin, and Harry Wilson, the Liverpool starlet currently on loan at Derby County.
John Marquis of Doncaster, Luton striker James Collins and Aiden McGeady, the Sunderland midfielder, all feature on the League One Player of the Season shortlist, while Tranmere forward James Norwood is battling with Bury duo Danny Mayor and Jay O’Shea for the League Two gong.
All six nominated players feature in their respective division’s team of the season.
The awards will be presented on April 7 in London.
